Robotics + AI · edge node

The AI camera
that follows you.

An autonomous node that sees, decides and aims the camera at what matters — all on site, with no mandatory cloud. The AI runs at the edge and a pan/tilt turret keeps the target in frame. The same node works for security, agriculture and sports.

Framing tracking · not ballistic aiming · deterrence by signage only · data stays on your site

The WAITDEAD sentinel

Meet the WAITDEAD sentinel — the same AI engine, with a face. It watches, tracks and alerts. It never shoots: it only signals.

The edge node

Compute, AI and a turret that aims the camera.

A single compact unit: the brain runs detection and tracking; the turret aims the frame. Built to live out in the field, with no permanent internet.

01 · compute

Raspberry Pi 5

The brain of the node: it ingests the video, runs the AI and makes the decision locally. Without sending the video off the property.

02 · AI

Inference accelerator

An AI accelerator (Hailo-class) raises the frames per second so detection and tracking run in real time at the edge, within the field's power budget.

03 · motion

Pan/tilt turret

Servos on a PCA9685 driven by an ESP32-C3. The Pi sends it aiming setpoints; the micro smooths the motion and releases the servos at rest.

video (node camera / RTSP) Pi 5 + AI: detection + tracking pan/tilt setpoint → ESP32-C3 → servos event + clip → control room (webhook/MQTT)

What it does

It tracks the frame, deters with signage, verifies the alarm.

The node's real capabilities, described without overselling. The goal is to keep the target in frame and report what matters — never to act on a person.

TRACKING

Active framing tracking

The turret aims the camera and the light to keep the target in frame as it moves.

  • Framing, not aiming: it moves the camera to see you better — it is not ballistic aiming or a weapon.
  • Persistent tracking: it follows the same id while it stays in the scene (anonymous track-id, no biometrics or facial recognition — Argentina's Law 25.326).
  • Safe idle: when inactive it releases the servos to save power and wear.
DETERRENCE

Escalated deterrence by signage

When an intrusion is confirmed, the node escalates signals — always deterrent, never harmful.

  • Siren + light: an obvious presence that breaks the intruder's anonymity.
  • Escalated talk-down voice: tiered warnings ("you are in a restricted area"). Signage only: never a weapon or a projectile.
  • Logging: every step is recorded in the event and the evidence clip.
ALARM

Verified alarm

It only alerts when a person or vehicle stays in a defined zone — not for wind, shadows or animals.

  • Deterministic spatial rule: dwell time in a zone or line crossing, auditable and adjustable by you — not a black box.
  • Kills the bulk of false alarms from PIR/CCTV (which are 94-98% of the total — pelco.com).
  • Evidence: clip + event (webhook/MQTT) to your control room or phone, with no mandatory cloud.
AUTONOMY

Autonomous: solar + 4G

For sites with no power or fixed network. The node powers itself and reports with no prior infrastructure.

  • Solar power + battery: it operates where the power grid doesn't reach.
  • Optional 4G link: it sends events and clips when there is coverage; the AI decides locally, so it keeps working even if the network goes down.
  • Store-and-forward: it saves events and sends them when the link comes back.

See it working

The turret following the target.

It's not a mockup: the AI detects, decides and the turret aims the camera live, on real video. The red box marks the verified intrusion inside the zone.

ROBOTICS · tracking + escalated deterrence

Detects, aims the frame and deters

Red box = a person who stays in the zone (verified alarm); cyan = ignored. The turret aims the camera and floodlight toward the zone (framing tracking, not ballistic aiming) and the voice warning escalates N1→N2→N3. Live pan/tilt and FPS: it's real software running on real video, not a render.

What you see is the full loop

Every frame goes through the same closed loop that runs on the node:

  • Detection + tracking of people and vehicles, with a stable id.
  • Decision: is it inside the zone? for how long? → verified alarm.
  • Aiming: pan/tilt setpoint to keep the frame on the target.
  • Reporting: clip + event to the control room, without the video leaving the site.

The same node

One piece of hardware, three verticals.

The node doesn't change: the AI model and the rules change. What we learn in one vertical carries over to the others because the compute, the turret and the pipeline are the same.

SECURITY

Perimeter security

Verified alarms, intruder tracking and deterrence by signage on perimeters, warehouses, shops and properties. It works alongside your existing CCTV via RTSP/ONVIF (a 2026 market baseline, not an exclusive trick).

AGRICULTURE / VINEYARDS

Agriculture and vineyards

The same node, out in the field: detection and tracking for wildlife deterrence and logging, powered by solar + 4G where there is no network or power. Field data without depending on the cloud.

SPORTS

Sports

Tracking and framing for clubs that already film with a phone or a GoPro on a mast and don't extract any analytics — local and private (minors, Law 25.326).

Honesty: Veo and Pixellot are the incumbents and the overhead angle is the ideal one; we offer analytics on the camera you already have, not parity with their dedicated rigs.

How it's deployed

Three levels of capability.

You start with the minimum and add capability when the site calls for it. Which level suits you depends on the site — we define it in the assessment. The quote comes after the survey, never blind.

tier 1 · fixed

Fixed node

AI camera, no movement.

  • Detection + verified alarm in a fixed zone.
  • Events + clips to your control room (webhook/MQTT), with no mandatory cloud.
  • Ideal where the field of view covers the zone and there's no need to re-aim.
→ request an assessment for a quote
tier 2 · with turret

Node with turret

Adds active framing tracking.

  • Everything in the fixed node, plus a pan/tilt turret.
  • Follows the target in frame and aims the light toward the event zone.
  • Deterrence by signage (siren + light + escalated talk-down voice).
→ request an assessment for a quote
tier 3 · autonomous

Autonomous node

For sites with no power or network.

  • Everything in the node with turret, plus solar power + battery.
  • 4G link with store-and-forward; the AI decides locally even if the network goes down.
  • Built for open field, remote perimeters and plots with no infrastructure.

no pricing here

We don't publish rates because the right node and tier depend on the site (coverage, power, network, number of zones). The assessment is free and ends in a concrete proposal for your case — not in a generic price list.

Honest roadmap

What runs today, and what is the field product.

We prefer to be clear about how mature each piece is. This is what's real as of today.

Today: x86 PC

The AI pipeline (detection + tracking + verified alarm) runs reliably on an x86 PC. It's what you see in the demo. The pan/tilt turret on ESP32-C3 / PCA9685 is already built and driven.

On the way: Pi 5 node + accelerator

The edge node (Pi 5 + AI accelerator) is the field product. We are bringing the same pipeline to that platform; it isn't yet benchmarked end to end on the Pi.

What we don't make up

No facial recognition or biometrics (Law 25.326). No weapons: the deterrence is signage only. No field deployments we can't show — that's why the demo and the assessment are free.
